“Perhaps no one tracks concussion among young athletes in the United States more closely than Dawn Comstock”, wrote the New York Times in December 2015. Dawn Comstock is Professor of Epidemiology at the Colorado School of Public Health. Her research focus is injury among the physically active, particularly the study of sports, recreation, and leisure-related injuries among children and adolescents. Dr. Comstock was recently one of five experts invited to meet with President Obama at the White House. She has a BS in Microbiology from Colorado State University, an MS in Epidemiology from University of Iowa, and a PhD in Public Health Epidemiology from UC San Diego.
