I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience with Vicis. I purchased a Zero 2 helmet for my son after he suffered a concussion while wearing a Riddell Speed, with the intention of providing him with the highest level of protection. Unfortunately, the Rapid Mount on the Zero 2 broke, forcing him to return to a team-issued Riddell Speed in the meantime.
As the Rapid Mount can only be purchased directly from Vicis, I ordered a replacement (Order placed on August 23, 2025). Despite paying $12.82 for shipping, the part shipped from Plainfield, IN on August 25 and was not scheduled to arrive until at least August 29. Considering that I live less than 5 hours away, this delay is very frustrating, especially since my son was unable to use the Zero 2 due to this issue.
Given both the importance of this product for player safety and the premium cost of Vicis equipment, I expected greater reliability of components and a more efficient fulfillment process. I respectfully request that Vicis review this matter, including the quality of the Rapid Mount as well as shipping timelines and costs, to ensure that customers are not placed in a situation where their athletes are left unprotected.
